Education

The greater Buffalo area is home to several colleges and universities. These include University at Buffalo, Buffalo State College, Erie Community College and Canisius College. Buffalo Public Schools, the second largest public school district in the State of New York, employs nearly 5,000 teachers and staff.

Although Buffalo developed as an industrial city, today the "Nickel City" offers jobs in a wide variety of industries, including everything from food service to professional services.
